A Blue and White Backsplash to Envy

This is a great, colorful backsplash for a little tile inspiration. I styled this kitchen as a cover story for Better Homes & Gardens Remodel last year and it appeared on the cover. The homeowners were inspired by a trip to Mexico and the tiles and color they saw there. The design is by Jessica Snyder-Betts of Kitchen Concepts. Photograph by Michael Partenio.

  1. I love travel inspired decor! Whether taking a cue from Morrocco, Spain, the South of France, travel-decor always transports the viewer when you walk in the door! It’s a holiday in the kitchen!

    • That is such a great point!

  2. I want the same!! Love it.

  3. This is fun and lively ! Great pix. The stylists I have worked with thy BHG have used are so very talented! You sure seem to be also! Loved andies shoot in BHG this month ! I had a save / splurge article in same issue on stands now! I guess I won’t ever work with you though because I am on gulf coast. They tell me they have a devil of a time getting stylists here!

    • I would so go style anything in NWFL! Every other year my family rents a big house in Seagrove or Seaside for a week and we have the best time. I’ve been going down there for at least 15 years and so much has changed. There is a really good stylist in Seagrove named Lynn Nesmith. She used to work for Southern Living and Southern Accents and you can see her work in Traditional Home too.

  4. Love this Stacy. I’m enjoying your site–well done!

  5. I Love It.

  6. What a beautiful job you did styling this! I love blue and white—absolutely stunning! XO
