This is the second in my new series about inspiration boards.
One of my dearest friends, Bartley Johnstone, is probably the most stylist person I know. Trained as a fashion designer at Parsons, she created clothes for big name department stores until realizing she would rather be in the bucolic setting of Kent, Connecticut, than the grind of New York. In Kent she set up B. Johnstone, where she sells the most amazing new and vintage clothing alongside antiques and mod accessories (think Mad Men bar carts and glasses galore!). On top of all that, Bartley is an amazing interior designer whose projects I have shot for New England Home, Better Homes & Gardens, and Decorating magazines. Below are photos of the inspiration board and table
from her home office. Enjoy!

Inspiration boards are SO important. I have one in almost every room, haha.
